Fresno Criminal Lawyer: Clovis Man Charged After Fight Outside Elbow Room In Fig Garden Village

A fight outside of the Elbow Room Restaurant in Fig Garden Village has left two 24-year-old men in serious trouble.

One man, the victim of the fight, is dealing with serious medical consequences. The second is facing very dire legal fallout.

Apparently, the two men knew each other and had had some kind of long-simmering feud since an altercation about a year ago, according to The Fresno Bee. When they saw each other outside the Elbow Room, they got into a fistfight.

The resulting melee put one man in the hospital. The other has been charged with felony assault and battery causing great bodily injury. He has claimed self-defense and will next appear in Fresno County Superior Court Jan. 24.
